First Look: Haywire Uptown Opens June 1st

by Joey Stewart photos by Joey Stewart

Haywire, the Texas themed restaurant with two locations in DFW, opens Tuesday in the former Water Grill space in Uptown.

The best of the décor from the previous space remains, but the Haywire team put their own spin on the restaurant by adding some fun western touches like deer antler chandeliers, studded leather seats and even select staff wearing cowboy hats. The oyster bar has been replaced with a wine room, which boasts hundreds of bottles from the affordable to Petrus.

A large outdoor patio features a fireplace and a camping trailer that’s been converted into a cozy, semi-private dining area.

Fans of the Legacy West location will be glad to see that the menu has not changed, and all of their favorites are available here.

Valet is available, as well as a convenient parking garage next door.

Here’s a sneak peek. We hope you enjoy Haywire Uptown as much as we did.
