Texas’ original House of Song, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, has closed their Addison location and opened their new location at The Star in Frisco at 6765 Winning Drive #810, Frisco, TX 75034. The new location offers a larger space and the newest technology to provide guests with a state-of-the-art Pete’s experience.
Pete’s recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, as their first location opened in Austin’s historic Sixth Street in 1992 as a one-man show. There are now four locations throughout Texas and one location in Chicago.
Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar’s Partners, Greg Sacony and Corey Urbach, have teamed up with additional hospitality veterans to open the new location in Frisco. David Lam Nguyen (owner of popular spots including Snowbird, Barcadia, and Tipsy Alchemist in Austin), James Hoffman, owner of Varsity Tavern in Fort Worth and Tempe and co-owner of Freshly Laid in Arizona), and Austin Walter (co-owner of Freshly Laid and Low Key Piano Bar in Tempe) are now part of the ownership team.
Owner Corey Urbach says, “Our guests visit us from all over the DFW area and we felt The Star in Frisco was the perfect place to relocate from our previous Addison location. This space will provide our guests an even better experience with the same piano players and Pete’s unique entertainment they love but with higher quality audio/visual and lighting!”
The one-of-a-kind beat bumpin’, mic droppin’, live entertainment experience invites guests to leave their cares at the door and join extraordinary musicians as they move the room to sing and dance their hearts out.
The Frisco location is the first Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar to feature a food menu in addition to their drink menu. Additionally, a ghost kitchen will launch at this location for private events in Frisco and Fort Worth.
The beverage menu offers a variety of spirits to sip on from Pete’s 52 oz. shareable schooners (up to 5 people), to handcrafted cocktails and shots, to boozy caffeinated drinks. The Baby Grand Cadillac Package is also available including a Pete’s schooner, bottle of rosé, jello-injectors, plus a spotlight on the big screens for the person you’re celebrating that evening.
The food menu includes shareable dishes such as Nachos, Birria Nachos, Wings and Loaded Fries, and sandwiches and burgers including, Chimichurri Steak Sandwich – marinated steak in chimichurri, roasted red bell peppers, arugula and house made tartar sauce on a pretzel bun; Cuban – roasted pork butt, dijon mustard, pickled cucumbers, and Swiss cheese; American Classic Burger – grilled wagyu 8oz patty, bacon, aged cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, pickles; Chorizo Burger – ground beef and chorizo 8oz patty, caramelized onions, dijon mustard, arugula, house tartar sauce; Philly Steak Sandwich – shaved ribeye steak, fried onions, sweet bell peppers, and provolone cheese; and a Grilled Cheese.
Flatbreads are also available including The Italiano – marinara, prosciutto, green olives, roasted tomatoes, basil; Cheesy Flat – marinara mozzarella, Swiss, provolone, and aged cheddar served with pesto and arugula, Philly Cheese Flat – marinara, shaved ribeye steak, fried onions, sweet bell peppers, and provolone cheese; and The Gaucho – marinara marinated steak in chimichurri, roasted bell peppers, arugula, and red onions.
The 5,400 square-foot space features seating for 300 with a similar design to other Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar locations but with the newest technology including the highest-quality sound, lighting, audio/visual equipment and better acoustics.
