
The Adolphus is making this holiday season extra festive with various events and exquisite holiday décor.
The hotel offers one of Dallas’ most anticipated holiday experiences, the Winter Village – The Adolphus Ski Lodge, a picturesque rooftop winter wonderland complete with yurts, cozy blankets, warm cocktails and more. The French Room Bar will once again transform into the festive Cocoa Lounge. Guests can look forward to special events such as the Great Tree Lighting in the lobby and the Dallas Holiday Parade.

Winter Village – The Adolphus Ski Lodge
Now – Saturday, January 6
The Adolphus’ rooftop will once again transform into a winter wonderland for the holiday season. This year’s theme, Winter Village Ski Lodge, whisks guests to the coziest, luxurious, upscale experience without leaving downtown Dallas.
Whether visiting friends and family in Dallas or looking for local activities, The Adolphus welcomes locals and visitors to the Winter Village Ski Lodge this season. Head to the rooftop Tuesday-Saturday evenings from 4 p.m.- 12 a.m. and be transported to a picturesque winter wonderland complete with cozy winter yurts, glittering snowscapes, cozy blankets, warm boozy cocktails, tableside s’mores and more.
Guests can select from Ski Lodge-inspired cocktails including Adolphus Cider; Hot Toddy; Hawt Chocolate; ‘Tini Bear; Merry-Rita; and more. Additionally, a selection of bites and dinner options including Jalapeno Hush Puppies; Loaded Burnt Ends Poutin; Beef Goulash Soup; Pickle Brined Chicken Paillard; Pumpkin Sausage Agnolotti; 44 Farmers Burger; and more will be available to guests dining at the winter rooftop activation.
Private themed yurts and cabanas are available by reservation for early seatings Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday in December from 4-7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m to late. Reservation rentals range from $250-$350 depending on the size of the group and lodge option. Reservations are available on Resy. Additional seating areas are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cocoa Lounge in The French Room Bar
Now – Sunday, January 7
This holiday season, The French Room Bar will open the “Cocoa Lounge” for a third year of holidays steeped in sweet delights featuring specialty adult beverages, hot cocoa and food offerings.
Additionally, the Cocoa Lounge will offer the Cocoa Tea Tier, a paired down afternoon tea option for those looking to partake in the popular holiday tradition. Guests will enjoy a selection of savory and sweet treats including a Truffle Egg Salad on croissant; Cucumber, Mint Cream Cheese on sourdough; Tandoori Chicken Salad and Pickles on challah; Orange Chocolate Tarts; Poached Pear Tarts; and Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake.
Guests can order the Cocoa Tea Tier from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $45 per person, and tea is available by the pot for an additional charge. The Cocoa Tea Tier will be available on the Cocoa Lounge menu to order. No pre-order is necessary.
For the first time ever, the Cocoa Lounge will be open seven days a week, Thursday, November 2- Sunday, January 7, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. No reservations are required, and children are welcome.
The Great Tree Lighting
Friday, December 1
Enjoy The Great Adolphus Tree Lighting on December 1 from 5-8 p.m. as The Adolphus illuminates its famous 25-foot real Balsam fir Christmas tree, grown especially for The Adolphus. Guests will enjoy Victorian Carolers performing holiday tunes, a complimentary hot toddy bar, holiday cookies and more. Guests can visit the Commerce Goods + Supply pop-up to purchase a custom Adolphus ornament handcrafted by Pennsylvania-based potter Nicole Aquillano.

The Dallas Holiday Parade “A Return to Traditions – The Miracle on Commerce Street”

Join the revelers on Commerce Street for the Dallas Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 2, at 10 a.m. The Dallas Holiday Parade began in 1988 when The Adolphus and Children’s Medical Center Dallas each reached historic milestones by celebrating 75th anniversaries in 1987. The Adolphus continues to sponsor the parade along with Toyota and AT&T. This year, a portion of proceeds will be donated to Parkland Health Foundation. Tickets can be purchased here.
