Set among Trinity Groves’ hip, bustling location of food extravaganza, Oreste’s New York Pizza and Bocce (an Italian traditional pastime of rolling colorful balls in a strategic game) boasts a beautiful terrace overlooking The Grove.
Inside is a casual dining experience with friendly staff and an extensive bar. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a cute Aperol Spritz and a small bag of seasoned fries clipped to the side. It was an exciting way to begin my dive into their amazing pizza with homemade yeasty thin crust and a good amount of mozzarella.

My favorite was the wild mushroom with a hint of truffle oil. For you pizza un-enthusiasts, there’s plenty of other options, such as: “pazzinis” (wraps), salads, and a dessert menu including cannoli’s. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends.
Oreste’s is the newest restaurant in Trinity Groves – named after Saint Rocco’s loyal canine companion, Oreste’s offers a unique blend of New York pizza, quick-serve lunch options, and full-service dining, promising an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of Dallas. Drawing inspiration from the rich dining traditions of Italy, Oreste’s diverse menu features a mouthwatering selection of pizzas, Pazzinis, cannolis, and Italian street food.
