LOCAL Public Eatery is excited to announce its first Texas location in Dallas’ buzzing Knox-Henderson neighborhood. Situated in the heart of Henderson Avenue, one of the city’s most walkable districts known for its lively dining and nightlife scene, LOCAL Public Eatery (or LPE) will officially open its doors to the public on September 26 at 4PM, marking the restaurant’s second U.S. location after Seattle.
LPE’s fun, relaxed pub concept will feature fresh, premium food offerings alongside a top-tier beverage menu. With an emphasis on providing friendly hospitality and curating memorable experiences, LPE will bring together family and friends (both new and old) for a good time – whether it be lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, late night, happy hour or game time. The Knox-Henderson location will also provide a gathering space for large party bookings and an easy option for takeout or delivery.

LOCAL Public Eatery’s 7,144-square-foot space will adorn hand-picked artwork and sports memorabilia accompanied by cozy area rugs and eclectic decor, creating an eye-catching design that seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with rustic charm for a home away from home feel. A focal point of the bar, a massive beer board lists what beers are pouring and doubles as a screen for viewing key sports events. Complete with an indoor lounge and central bar, dining area, open kitchen and spacious covered patio, LPE is poised to become an ideal drinking and dining destination for Dallas residents, local businesses and visitors alike.
Under the guidance of Regional Chef Oliver Lewis, LPE will offer an ever evolving, flavorful menu of comfort food classics and innovative bites. From craveable LOCAL Fried Chicken and Fully Loaded Crispy Potatoes to the LOCAL Burger and mains such as the BBQ Rice Bowl and Steak & Fries, LPE provides thoughtfully curated food selections full of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The neighborhood hangout will also offer a unique selection of pizzas, like the Pepperoni Supremo, a delicious result of the LPE culinary team’s recent market research trip to Italy.
In addition to fresh fare, LPE takes pride in its equally impressive bar program. The intentional beverage menu includes local draft beers, wine and hand-crafted cocktails like the Spicy Guava Margarita, Texas Mule and Aperol Crush. No matter the occasion, LPE is dedicated to serving up the perfect libation to match a guest’s meal and mood. Patrons can also enjoy group activities for the whole table with drink options such as the Porron, an entire bottle of wine in a pourable pitcher served sans glasses, as well as Espresso Mar-Tinys, shot-sized espresso martinis, and Cold Tea, a pot of Jameson infused tea for an unforgettable experience.
