Hollywood-Inspired Steakhouse Evelyn Opens in Design District March 26

EVELYN, a chic and timeless restaurant from Dallas-based Reach Hospitality (known for The Mexican, Black Tap, and Pie Tap), will open on Wednesday, March 26, in Dallas’ Design District at 1201 Turtle Creek Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207.

EVELYN brings a bold, sophisticated, and feminine energy. It’s a place where great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere mix with disco, rock ‘n’ roll, and dancing for a unique dining and nightlife experience.

Designed by the renowned ICRAVE design firm (Catch, STK), EVELYN offers a journey through different eras of entertainment. The 9,500 square foot space includes:

  • The Piano Room: An intimate dining area serving expertly prepared steaks, seafood, and classic cocktails in a refined setting.
  • The Ruby Room: A vibrant bar area with 75-100 seats.
  • Room Seven: A high-energy lounge with a 70s and 80s dancefloor vibe, also featuring 75-100 seats for a late-night experience.

Lisa Johnson, Design Manager at ICRAVE, shares, “EVELYN blends nostalgia with modern allure. The design is inspired by the bold glamour of past decades, offering a mix of disco and rock ‘n’ roll energy, while each room reveals a different side of EVELYN’s personality.”

Todd Istre, Co-Founder of Reach Hospitality, adds, “The idea for EVELYN started with Room Seven. We wanted to create a luxurious space where you could dine, dance, and enjoy a full night out. It’s a blend of an old Hollywood steakhouse and a sophisticated nightlife venue with a female-forward twist.”

The menu at EVELYN pays tribute to classic Hollywood steakhouses with a mix of nostalgic flavors and modern techniques. Guests will enjoy premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and timeless martinis. Room Seven also offers a late-night menu for extended dining after dinner hours.

Highlights include:

  • Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites with caramelized onions, aged provolone mornay, and black truffle.
  • Jumbo Lump Gulf Crab & Avocado Stack with heirloom cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, and truffle chile crisp.
  • Caviar service featuring Siberian Baerii, Platinum Osetra, and Golden Osetra.
  • Seafood towers available in Petite or Grande.

For steaks, enjoy cuts like:

  • Texas Wagyu Strip (14 oz. from Rosewood Ranch, TX).
  • Dry-Aged Prime Ribeye (22 oz. from DemKota Ranch, SD).
  • Japanese Miyazaki A5 Wagyu served tableside on a hot lava rock.

Entree options include:

  • Whole Maine Lobster Linguine with creamy lobster velouté.
