Flying Fish restaurants are celebrating Mother’s Day in style on Saturday, May 11, by offering moms a special treat—choose a complimentary margarita, frozen Tito’s and lemonade, or a slice of key lime pie. It’s their way of saying thanks to all the amazing moms out there, and it’s available all day at every Flying Fish location.
Inspired by the classic seafood shacks of East Texas—especially those near Caddo Lake—Flying Fish has grown to 12 locations across North Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee. The menu is a seafood lover’s dream, with options like grilled fish prepared in a variety of styles, hearty boiled platters, crispy fried baskets, oysters on the half shell, and fish tacos.
You’ll also find Southern comfort favorites like po’ boys, jambalaya, gumbo, grits, and house-made hushpuppies and desserts. To wash it all down, Flying Fish offers ice-cold beer, wine, and their signature homemade margaritas.

More than just a restaurant, Flying Fish is a destination for quirky fun. The “Billy Bass Adoption Wall” invites guests to bring in their retired singing fish—yes, those Billy Basses—in exchange for a free basket of catfish and a spot on the wall. And the “Liars Wall” honors the tall tales of fishing fans who love to share their most legendary (and possibly exaggerated) catches.
With locations in Addison, Arlington, Dallas (Irving Blvd), Fort Worth, Garland (Firewheel), Plano, Preston Center, and The Sound at Cypress Waters, Flying Fish opens daily at 11 a.m. For menus, hours, and more info, visit their webstuff.
