Café Momentum, the acclaimed non-profit restaurant and culinary training facility, will host the final event of its Sunday Supper Concert Series for the summer season on August 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. This special evening will feature a live jazz performance from Dallas’ own The Funky Knuckles, paired with a thoughtfully crafted, three-course dinner inspired by the band’s sound and spirit.
Co-founded by longtime radio host Eric Nadel and Café Momentum CEO Chad Houser, the Sunday Supper Concert Series blends high-caliber live music with chef-driven cuisine to support the restaurant’s powerful mission: empowering justice-involved youth through real-world training and mentorship.
Each event’s menu is uniquely designed to reflect the performing artist, and this final installment is no exception. Chef de Cuisine Aaron Collins brings his creative edge to the table with a one-night-only, family-style meal that fuses musical energy with seasonal flavors.
This Sunday Supper is presented by Amazon, with WFAA serving as the official media sponsor. Guests will enjoy complimentary wine, beer, and bubbles, as well as valet parking for a relaxed, elevated experience from the moment they arrive.

The Menu:
- First Course: Ninny’s Salad – fried okra, spinach, tomatoes, green onion, and Southern vinaigrette
- Second Course: Smoked Pork Tenderloin – served with grilled squash and zucchini, purple hull peas with red onion and herbs, peach relish, salsa verde, toasted pistachio, ricotta, and peach mustard BBQ sauce
- Third Course: Peach and Mango Clafoutis – a light, fruit-forward dessert to close the evening on a sweet, summery note
All proceeds from the evening benefit Café Momentum’s life-changing programs for youth navigating the justice system.
Tickets are available now and include dinner, drinks, and valet service.
