Lockhart Smokehouse Brings the Heat (and the Meat) This Thanksgiving

Lockhart Smokehouse is turning up the flavor this Thanksgiving with a Texas-sized feast perfect for sharing at home. Known for its authentic Central Texas-style barbecue, the beloved smokehouse is serving up family-style holiday meals packed with smoky goodness and classic Southern comfort.

On the menu: fully smoked hams, whole turkeys, turkey breasts, briskets, and prime rib, all slow-cooked to perfection. Each comes with a spread of holiday favorites like green bean casserole, smoked creamed corn, cheesy potato casserole, sweet potato soufflé, mac and cheese, and for dessert, peach cobbler and pecan pie — priced from $40 to $270 depending on size.

Meals are frozen and vacuum-sealed for freshness, complete with easy-to-follow instructions for thawing and reheating. Sides come in aluminum pans, ready to pop in the oven. Turkey breasts serve 4–6 people, while hams, prime rib, and whole turkeys feed 8–10. For a true Texas gathering, a whole brisket satisfies up to 20 hungry guests.

Orders must be placed by Friday, November 21, with pickup available November 24–26 (11 a.m.–5 p.m.) at both Plano and Bishop Arts locations.

Founded by Jill and Jeff Bergus, Lockhart Smokehouse carries on a proud barbecue legacy tied to the iconic Kreuz Market in Lockhart, Texas. Since opening in 2011, it’s earned a reputation as one of the state’s top barbecue destinations — where tradition, smoke, and hospitality come together.
