Café Olivia’s smaller sibling opens Thursday, November 5, in Plano. Olivita by Café Olivia takes a spot inside the Park Center office building at 2400 Dallas Parkway in the Willow Bend area. CraveDFW first wrote about the plan in September, when the target was early October. It took a few extra weeks, but it’s here.
This is the third location for On Brand Hospitality’s café brand, following Addison and the Dallas Arts Tower downtown. Olivita is built for the office crowd, with a shorter menu and a smaller room. CEO Adrian Verdin says people shouldn’t have to give up good food and fresh ingredients just because they’re eating at the office.
The space runs about 2,335 square feet with seating for 67. Wallace Johnson Studio designed it with terracotta and sage green, natural wood, and a coastal Mediterranean feel.
The kitchen follows the same rules as the other two cafés. Everything is cooked in olive oil, avocado oil or butter, with no seed oils. Eggs come from Cedar Ridge Egg Farm, and dairy comes from Jersey Girls Dairy.

Breakfast regulars will recognize the Rising Pig, rosemary ham and egg with caramelized onions, aged white cheddar and black garlic aioli. The Oaxaca Mornings wraps egg, chorizo and Oaxaca cheese in a flour tortilla with potatoes and pickled onion. For lunch, The Olivia stacks herb chicken, ricotta, pistachio pesto and roasted tomato on milk bread. The Miso Salmon and the Green Goddess Cobb made the cut, too.
The drinks are a big reason people go to Café Olivia, and the full lineup carries over. The Pink Cloud is a strawberry latte with a strawberry cloud on top, and the Olivia brings lavender and vanilla bean. Both can be made with espresso or ceremonial-grade matcha.
Olivita is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The café is at 2400 Dallas Parkway, Suite 120, in Plano, and the phone number is 469-209-0118.
