The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) is one of the largest and most successful fundraising organizations in the fight against HIV/AIDS with chapters in Dallas, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. The Dallas chapter, formed in 1984, is the largest in the DIFFA family and the premiere HIV/AIDS organization in Texas that provides funding to local HIV/AIDS Service Organizations within our community.

If you like eating crabs, then you will absolutely adore the soft shell crab.
Maryland is famous for its many fresh seafood varieties such as blue crab, oysters and fish. Arguably the most delicious variety of them all, however, is the soft shell crab.
So what’s the difference between a regular crab and a soft shell crab, you ask? A soft shell crab is essentially a crab that has outgrown the size of its hard shell and thus shed its exterior layer by a process called molting. Knife, the nationally-acclaimed steakhouse by Chef John Tesar, has reintroduced its lunch menu and will reopen during daytime hours as Knife Burger. After temporarily stopping lunch service during the pandemic, Tesar has revamped the menu with favorites from Knife Burger, which has additional locations in Plano, TX, and Orlando, FL.
Knife Burger at The Highland will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30a.m. – 2 p.m.
