Rahr & Sons Brewing Co., which started the North Texas craft brewing movement more than decade ago, will mark its 11th anniversary in October. Owners Fritz and Erin Rahr and the Rahr & Sons team will celebrate the occasion by releasing a new beer and hosting events at the brewery.
Rahr & Sons’ 11th anniversary beer, a Russian Imperial Stout with Toasted Coconut, will be released the week of Oct. 26. Touted as the king of all stouts, the beer has rich chocolate and caramelized malt flavors with a hint of toasted coconut.
