Russell Hobbs, owner of two legendary Deep Ellum venues, The Door and The Prophet Bar, is proud to announce the recent soft opening of a brand new tapas restaurant
concept in the heart of the neighborhood called Texas Tapas. The restaurant and bar offers a unique blend of tapas with a Texas twist in a casual dining atmosphere and is open for dinner on Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Jaime Corona, who formerly served as Chef at The Place at Perry’s, has been appointed as Head Chef and brings years of expertise from the modern steakhouse to Texas Tapas’ wide array of elevated Southern and eclectic dishes. The new restaurant is now open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Texas Tapas is located at 2511 Main Street. Continue reading
