What’s Eating Your Phone? Reader’s Edition

Food-photoby Steven Doyle

We had a huge response to our new feature, What’s Eating Your Phone? yesterday, and many of you sent in your food porn. So many that we will do this regularly. So to take us into the weekend, we are offering photos taken on your phone’s camera. It all looks so delicious, I am headed to lunch! If you wish to be included in next week’s What’s Eating Your Phone, drop me a line at steven@cravedfw.com. Please be sure you send your original photo from your phone with a brief description. We may be giving some prizes out with this.

Randal Senter

Randal Senter sends us his photo of the cheese board at the newish For Worth cheese shop, Magnolia Cheese Company. We hear nothing but wonderful things happening with that particular cheesemonger. Follow Randal on Instagram: randalsenter.

kevin wilson offsite kitchen

We maintain that Off Site Kitchen makes the finest burger in Dallas. Reader Kevin Wilson agrees, and sends us his photo of the double with bacon. This has to be lunch today. Kevin seems fond of his burgers, and sent quite a few from around the Metroplex. Maybe he can be our new burger writer?

jonathons the cure - bobby fodge

Jonathon’s in Oak Cliff is anything but passive aggressive on a plate. Everything Jonathon Erdeljac makes in his kitchen is bountiful and satisfying. This is a photo of The Kure taken by Bobby Fodge. This dish would definitely take the edge of anything you might have over-indulged in the night before.

andrea perkins 20 feet

Andrea Perkins knows how to rev our engines on a Friday afternoon. This is her photo of the Ipswich Clams at 20 Feet Seafood Joint in East Dallas. The tastiest clams you will ever sample n the DFW area.

jimmy's

It is no doubt agreed that Jimmy’s Food Store in East Dallas makes one very superb sandwich. This is an example of the muffaletta provided by Michael Tidwell.
