Blue Bunny has employed the talents of Food Network chef Duff Goldman who owns Charm City Cakes and is regularly featured on the network’s Ace of Cakes.
Goldman has created four new flavors for Blue Bunny, an ice cream brand of Wells Enterprises, that will contain actual chunks of his inspired cakes. Blue Bunny marketing manager Curtis Hansen is excited to have Duff on board to lift the brand. “The synergy of Duff’s innovative ideas and our expertise in high quality ice cream have blended nicely to bring these decadent flavors to life,” said Hansen in a press release.
The company said Red Carpet Red Velvet Cake is a flavored ice cream which is swirled with cream cheese frosting flavored ice cream and red velvet cake pieces; and Chocolate Lovers Triple Chocolate Cake is a chocolate ice cream served with fudge chocolate cake pieces and dressed in ribbons of thick, chocolate frosting.
Also new is I Do! I Do! Wedding Cake is made using sweet butter cream frosting ice cream and white cake pieces wrapped in delicate ribbons of raspberry sauce; and Strawberries are Forever Shortcake which contains a taste of strawberry ice cream and real strawberries mixed with pound cake pieces and swirls of whipped cream frosting.
The new flavors are available at grocery retailers nationwide, and each to be priced at $4.99. You know where we will be for lunch.
