Chicken and Waffle Taco at La Grange

One of the big things we are starting to see on menus are the unconventional sandwiches and tacos. The trend holds true with the taco-makers at La Grange in Deep Ellum.  

We spoke with La Grange owner Stephanie Shumacher who was excited to share her latest invention, the Chicken and Waffle Taco. “The Chicken and Waffle Taco is made with fried chicken, apple wood smoked bacon, on a homemade crispy waffle and chipotle syrup. I came up with the concept, but Chris executes wonderfully. We had one couple get three orders. It is really good,” said Shumacher.
