Ristorante Nicola has undergone a few changes as of late with the addition of a new chef, Justin Melnick, and new menus. You will note the new dinner menu beginning Saturday, June 16, and the luncheon menu on Monday, June 18.
Chef Melnick is a Northeastern transplant that has traveled extensively throughout Italy and began his love for cooking at a young age in his family’s own restaurant, Tutto del Cose Buono. The chef is degreed from the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and immediately made off to Boston where he worked for both Barbara Lynch and Todd English.
In 2006 Melnick joined Tomasso Trattoria & Enoteca as Sous Chef under the tutelage of then Executive Chef Tony Bettencourt. He became Tomasso Trattoria Executive Chef in December 2007.
Melnick will bring his sustainable style of cooking to Ristorante Nicola located at 8111 Preston in Park Cities.
