Look for a new burger bar to open next to the Alamo Drafthouse that is currently under construction in the Richardson Heights Shopping Center located on Belt Line and North Central Expressway. The Rusty Barn will serve upscale burgers and craft beer.
Both Alamo Drafthouse and Rusty Barn will open Spring of 2013.
On a recent trek to Austin to speak with the local owner of Alamo Drafthouse, Bill DiGaetano, he explained they preferred to open in areas needing revitalization. With their opening other businesses follow. They expect shops and restaurants from the Austin area to open in the Richardson location.
