Taverna Rossa, the newest concept from {33} Restaurant Group debuts in Plano this summer. Specializing in unique, rustic thin-crust pies baked in a stone-fired oven, Taverna Rossa settles for nothing less than handmade goodness and hometown flavors with a strong commitment to sourcing local and natural ingredients whenever possible.
“We are so excited to open in the beautiful Lakeside Market in Plano,” says Preston Lancaster, Founder and CEO of {33} Restaurant Group. “Along with partners’ Jimmy Cannon and Tony Smith, we are setting out to create our own favorite restaurant with pizza, music and beer being the main emphasis. We’re striving to create a fun, local hangout that reflects our passion for outstanding food, drink, service and atmosphere.”
Taverna Rossa features twenty four craft beers, on tap with many locally brewed selections including Deep Ellum, Lakewood and Franconia as well as an extensive list of hand-crafted, signature cocktails such as the RossaRita and The Deep South.
The menu, created in collaboration with culinary partner Brian C. Luscher Chef/Owner of The Grape features a uniquely rustic take on pizza as well as small plate appetizers, fresh salads, oven baked pastas, hot sandwiches and decadent desserts.
Relax surrounded by the Tavern’s exposed rafters and reclaimed wood with a lake-view seat or hit the outdoor bar on the large, fully cooled and heated patio. Enjoy live music, from country and blues to rock n’ roll from local bands that play three to four nights per week.
{33} Restaurant Group owns and operates six restaurants including Palio’s Pizza Café (Little Elm, Frisco, Crossroads and Plano), Cadillac Pizza Pub in McKinney and Taverna Rossa Craft Pizza and Beer.
