Starting this Friday September 13th Pappas Bros. Steakhouse will host a Glenfiddich Scotch Dinner. “What makes Friday night’s fine tasting experience so distinctive is its extended samplings of the world’s most awarded single malt in addition to a four course meal. Wine Release Party
Saturday September 14th is the release date for several wines by Inwood Estates Cellars at their Dallas location. Inwood is one of the best wineries in the state, making wines of individuality and distinction, all with Texas grapes. This Saturday, Sept. 14, 12-5 pm. 1350 Manufacturing, #209, Dallas, 75207
Chances are, this will be the only public tasting of Palo-Chard in Dallas. We do not anticipate that it will be on our bar again after this date. Special Rate: $7 to taste 2 wines: Palo-Chard and Dallas County Chardonnay. The rest of our Reds Flight is available to taste for an additional $10. Wine Club Members taste free. Advance orders will be accepted. Winemaker will be there in person to present the wines.
2012 Inwood Whites
2012 provided one of the finest vintages Inwood have had for white wines in their history, and probably the best since 2005. A total of FOUR extraordinary white wines were produced from their Dallas area vineyards which they personally farm. They are:
1. Palomino-Chardonnay. $79.50. Release Date: Sept 2013

Pairings — Wine, Beer, Food at Trinity Groves Thursday, Sept. 19
Creative cuisine will commingle with premium wines at Pairings, a tasting event, Thursday, Sept. 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trinity Groves. Trinity Groves is a new restaurant, retail, artist and entertainment destination at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in West Dallas.
Wine selections will include vintages from the top-producing regions of Chile, Argentina, Spain, and France, as well as selections from Oregon, Washington, and California. Featured vineyards will include Viu Manent (Colchagua Valley, Chile), Zonin (Monferrato, Italy), and Pine Ridge (California). The Lone Star State will also be well-represented by Hill Country vintners such as Becker Vineyards and Fall Creek Winery.
In consideration of beer connoisseurs, Pairings will also offer samples from Dallas’ own Four Corners Brewery and from Belgium’s internationally-renowned Stella Artois. Beverage samples will be poured into commemorative crystal wine glasses or a special Stella Artois beer chalice (both available while supplies last).
Complementary cuisine will feature tasty bites from the new restaurants of Trinity Groves, including 3015 Trinity Groves, Amberjack’s Fish Market Grill, Luck (Local Urban Craft Kitchen), Chino, Resto Gastro Bistro, Saint Rocco’s New York Italian and Kate Weiser Chocolates.
Pairings is presented by CBS RADIO Dallas-Fort Worth, Savor Dallas, and Trinity Groves.
