Want to support the next generation of chefs and enjoy some interesting food? Haven’t seen local DISD chef instructors Anastacia Quinnones or April Barney in some time? Then you will want to check out the Students Taste of Dallas coming your way Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 4:30 to 7pm at 3015 in Trinity Groves. Taste your way around as students ply you with samplings of their best cuisine, and vote for the next Dallas cheffy star. Check out the details below, and purchase your $10 ticket now.
There will be six teams competing to win either a 1st place prize of $500, a 2nd place prize of $300, or a People’s Choice Award of $100.
Each team will be preparing an appetizer sampling that will be judged by three top Chefs to determine the 1st and 2nd place winners, and by you to decide the People’s Choice winner.
Participating High Schools: Skyline, Roosevelt, Lincoln, DeSoto, Forney, and Wilmer Hutchins
