Hundreds of party guests celebrated the grand opening on 3700M’s resort-inspired rooftop pool terrace, with unobstructed views of the downtown Dallas skyline. Models rotated between platforms, previewing fashions from West Village clothing retailers Rye 51, Banana Republic, Epic Apparel, Q Clothier, LF and Abi Ferrin. Mixologists from Parliament created artisanal cocktails, while Houndstooth Coffee played barista. Gourmet eats were provided by Baboush and Sushi Zushi, and DJ Sober played music throughout the evening, completed by a surprise fireworks finale. Private tours of 3700M apartments and amenities were available for all guests.
“West Village is in the heart of Uptown, one of the most popular areas of Dallas,” said Neal Sleeper, president of Cityplace Company. “We’ve seen a high interest in the retail space developing on the ground floor of 3700M, and we expect to fill up retail by late spring 2015.”
The West Village tower includes around 37,000 square feet of ground retail and restaurant space. In partnership with Cityplace Company, 3700M has signed tenants including J. Crew, European men’s store Suitsupply, burger restaurant Eureka, Bisous Bisous Patisserie, Los Angeles-export gastropub Public School 214, MiniLuxe, Lorna Jane, YK American Grill, framing store Aaron Brothers and ballet workout chain Pure Barre. J. Crew opened its boutique store in September 2014.
3700M apartments are now available for lease. Spaces range from one to two bedrooms, from 640 to 1,500 square feet, with 31 different floor plans. Most apartments include a terrace, and all include stainless steel appliances, as well as washers and dryers. Amenities include a full-service concierge, fully equipped catering kitchen, world-renowned Technogym® equipment, yoga studio, group fitness room with on-demand virtual fitness, and a skyline cabana lounge with movable walls that expand to a poolside entertainment area. The resort-inspired outdoor rooftop pool terrace includes an infinity-edge swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, covered cabanas, and an outdoor kitchen and bar with Viking gas grills.
