The Best Thai family is opening their 7th restaurant location in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas and it boasts the largest Thai buffet in Texas, a private dining area and a small Thai gift shop. Best Thai Diner officially opens on Saturday, November 29, 2014 on Small Business Saturday. 9170 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Dallas.
Since 1996, the Best Thai family has served Thai food in the Dallas-Ft. Worth and the Best Thai Diner will be their way to provide a more diverse selection of Thai cuisines. Best Thai Diner will open for lunch and dinner with more than 25 Thai items on the buffet spread that will serve authentic cuisines represented from all four regions of Thailand. All noodles and soups will be made to order at the buffet line to ensure the freshest and best quality of food.
The spacious restaurant will allow the owners more flexibility to offer more exciting dining experiences. Restaurant owners Booney and Jess Virattanajan plan to invite celebrity chefs from Thailand in the future to host food demonstrations, tastings and/or wine pairings. The gift shop will carry teas, lotions, candy, cookies and fun trinkets from Thailand from their travels.
Best Thai has made it their restaurant business to combine their love of home cooked Thai cuisines and the love for sharing and serving that to everyone. The restaurant duo truly enjoys opening their restaurant doors every day to serve and greet their “extended family members.” Booney remembers opening the first Best Thai restaurant 17 years ago with a vision to continue her father’s Master Chef legacy, home-cooking styles, recipes and passion for serving up real good Thai food.
The restaurant hours will be as follows: Mon – Fri: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm Sat: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm Sun: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
