Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs Is Now Permanently Parked at Klyde Warren Park

Earlier this year, Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs announced a tasty new partnership to park its first-ever Food Truck along Klyde Warren Park’s East Lawn adjacent to the new Nancy Best Fountain. As Klyde Warren Park celebrates 10 years of serving communities in the heart of Dallas, this partnership brings State Fair fun to the city’s beloved green space all year long. For the past several months, Fletcher’s has been utilizing its existing food trailers to pop up at the Park on weekends while their new food truck was being designed and built.

Last week, Fletcher’s new truck made its debut and will now reside at the Park on a permanent basis, serving diners every Tuesday through Friday from 11am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-7:30pm. These hours may change due to weather conditions and can increase if public demand warrants. Fans of the brand will find all six varieties of Corny Dogs, as well as curly fries, and lemonade. Dallas diners can stay connected for updates through Fletcher’s social media sites. Klyde Warren Park is located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Dallas.

About Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs:
You can credit America’s obsession with fried foods, in part, to brothers Neil & Carl Fletcher. In 1938, the brothers invented a brand new food category and perfected what we know today as a “Corny Dog” – a high-quality hot dog on a stick, hand-dipped into Fletcher’s proprietary cornmeal batter and deep fried until it’s golden brown. This cruncy creation was introduced at the State Fair of Texas in 1942 and has been a Fair staple ever since. On average, over 500,000 corny dogs are sold annually at the State Fair of Texas. That’s 60,000 pounds of hot dogs .

The Fletcher family says MUSTARD is what you put on a corny dog, but due to customer demand, ketchup was introduced in 1994. During the State Fair of Texas, Fletcher’s will go through 1500 gallons of mustard and 800 gallons of ketchup. Fletcher’s has delighted celebrities and dignitaries from around the world, including Oprah Winfrey, the Jonas Brothers, Emmitt Smith, Mikhail Gorbachev, Julia Child, Dirk Nowitzki, Mario Lopez, and Gov. Rick Perry. https://fletcherscornydogs.com/
