Republic Texas Tavern prides itself on its robust spirits collection, including a vast lineup of American whiskeys. On Wednesday, February 28, the bar is complementing its selection with a Meet the Maker event, in which an expert visitor will share his whiskey and knowledge with Republic patrons.
Barry Brinegar is the co-founder and national brand ambassador for RD1 Spirits. The Lexington, Kentucky-based company was founded in 2020 and has quickly made a name for itself with its boundary-pushing whiskey releases, including Kentucky straight bourbons finished in French oak and Brazilian amburana wood.
Barry will talk all things RD1, while attendees enjoy a pour of whiskey or a craft cocktail created for the event, as well as passed bites from chef Ray Skradzinski. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about the whiskey category and get insights into one of the country’s most exciting new whiskey makers.
