Rodeo Goat Opens in Addison this Fall

RODEO GOAT, known for house-ground patties, cold beer, moonshine cocktails, good vibes and  friendly folks is bringing its herd to Addison.

Slated to open this fall, the newest location of the popular eatery will be located at 14941 Midway Road in the former Spring Creek BBQ joint close to Beltline Road. The 6,000 square foot space will feature ample room for dine-in and outdoor patio dining along with a free standing bar.

“Everyone was asking for a Rodeo Goat in Addison and we listened,” says Shannon Wynne, co-founder of Rodeo Goat. “The newly renovated Midway Road with a network of running trails is the perfect spot. Additionally, our Flying Saucer Beerknurds will have a new place to grab a beer.”

The menu features over 20 cheekily named burger selections including the popular Billy F Gibbons, a beef patty topped with candied bacon, caramelized onions, gouda, mango pico, cream cheese spread and Trailboss habanero salsa and the Chaca Oaxaca, a beef and chorizo patty with avocado spread, pico de gallo, fried egg, queso fresco and Tabasco mayo as well as meaty tribute burgers named for local personalities.

Who will join the herd in Addison? Hang tight – details coming soon.

Vegetarian options are available including the Neil Young with a homemade vegan patty, hydroponic sprouts, beefsteak tomato and avocado and green goddess dressing and ALL burgers can be made with chicken, turkey, vegan or Impossible patties. Salads, hand punched cheese fries ‘with or with out’ a surprise, brisket chili, Goat Balls and milkshakes are also offered.

The extensive drink menu offers domestic and imported brews with a large selection of  “mostly” Texas craft beers, a list of wines available by the glass, and a quirky cocktail menu featuring signature concoctions such as the “Fainting Goat” crafted from Revolver Blood and Honey, vodka and orange juice and the “Moontang” with Firefly Moonshine, Tang and “other things”.
