Beverly’s Downtown: An Underground Mexican Dining Destination Coming to Fort Worth

Set to open in 2026, Beverly’s Downtown will be the second restaurant from the group behind The Mont, bringing a distinctive new dining experience to Fort Worth. Located below street level in the Hogan Building, the restaurant is designed as a true retreat from the downtown bustle—an immersive space that uses its subterranean setting as an asset rather than a novelty.

The below-ground location allows for a fully controlled environment, where lighting, acoustics, and layout can be carefully shaped to create a cohesive atmosphere. Interior designer Kellye Raughton is leading the design, with an emphasis on warmth, texture, and comfort rather than an industrial or basement feel. The goal is a dining room that feels intentional and transportive, encouraging guests to settle in and stay awhile.

The menu will focus on bold Mexican flavors, signaling a confident, high-impact approach to the cuisine. While details have not yet been released, expectations are for dishes that balance tradition with modern technique, featuring layered sauces, vibrant ingredients, and assertive seasoning. An elevated beverage program is also expected, with tequila, mezcal, and cocktails designed to complement the food’s intensity.

Beverly’s Downtown represents a notable step forward for Fort Worth’s dining scene, combining thoughtful design with culinary ambition in a format the city hasn’t seen before. By transforming an overlooked underground space into a destination, the restaurant promises both a sense of discovery and a new benchmark for downtown dining when it opens in 2026.
