Chef Pyles in Zihuatanejo

It was September of 1998 and I was in Cuernavaca, Mexico staying at Las Mananitas where I was taking an immersion Spanish class for two weeks. I had a free weekend and decided to fly to Zihuatanejo to check out a new hotel that a reputable travel magazine called Mexico’s most romantic, Casa Que Canta.
