Last night the city of Dallas witnessed the largest outpouring of love and respect for the godfather of the craft cocktail movement in Dallas, Charlie Papaceno. As previously mention on craveDFW, Papaceno plans to open his new bar, Industry Alley.
It was during the building process of the bar, which he did much of the labor himself, that he met with an accident while installing a barn door that is just off the largish patio set at the entrance of the bar. His hand was badly cut and he spent some time with doctors. It was during a hospital visit that it was discovered that Papaceno had developed cancer and he immediately began treatment.
