Nosh Euro Bistro Plano Opens Thursday

by Steven Doyle

For those in the Plano or the surrounding areas that are curious about the new Nosh Euro Bistro that is slated to open this week, we just spoke with chef-partner Jon Stevens who will be manning the kitchen at the new restaurant. Jon will be wearing the top toque while he finalizes hiring the chef that will take over permanently. While Jon is away  from his duties at the flagship restaurant in Highland Park, Andrew Bell will take over as executive chef temporarily.

Bell is working on opening a Nosh of his very own and will be located in downtown Austin.

The Plano location will open most likely open on Thursday and you may already book reservations for New Years Eve by contacting the restaurant at 972.612.3200.

In the past year Nosh has become known for fantastic and affordable bistro fare. The restaurant stays open all day for late lunches or early dinners with many lingering throughout the day. Nosh also features brunch.

The menu looks very upscale but the prices are kept affordable to attract the average diner who may wish to visit the restaurant on a more frequent basis than just special occasions. There are plenty of fresh fish offerings as well as interesting soups and salads.  Our favorite is the beet salad.

The blackboard specials are kept updated and fresh daily, and for those looking for something interesting this is the best place to start. The specials at the Plano location will be completely different than the Dallas restaurant, and change based on what each individual chef decides to cook that day.
