Sometimes a cocktail is more than a cocktail. Perhaps it’s a dessert. That certainly is the case of our Drink of the Week. We stopped and plopped into Four Lounge to see what master cocktailier Keith LaBonte was making today, and he is always good for a show.
For the record, LaBonte can make a simple drink. However it’s just not as much fun as watching him use a handful of house-made syrups or his blow torch.
Today the barman concocted a drinkable S’Mores, and once he started making this he had the attention of the entire bar.
It took a bit of time, but the drink is actually very good and worth the wait.
While we waited the bar was invaded by the crew of Most Eligible Dallas. The ladies pictured are still in the try-out phase for season two. Seems that the Dallas reality set likes our little cocktail lounge near State and Allen. We only teased them a little.
