The Promise of Peace, (POP), Community Garden Farm to Table Brunch and Silent Auction will be held on March 4th at Sundown at Granada from 10:30am – 2:00pm. It will feature local Chefs Rolo Cantu, Marc Cassel, Billy Cooper, Suzanne Fries and Sundown at Granada’s Chef Patrick Stark. The chefs have designed a five-course menu that will feature local ingredients. Greenlings will be donating produce that follows the restaurant’s mission to serve locally grown ingredients in their unique menu.
A new brunch menu from Sundown at Granada is slated for April.
Tickets are $60 and include a five-course menu, a specialty cocktail and gratuity. There are only 50 tickets available. Purchase your tickets at the Granada’s website. The silent auction will open at 10:30am and will feature local artisans.
Proceeds from the Farm to Table Brunch and Silent Auction will benefit the Promise of Peace Garden as it continues to offer its free kids gardening camps and low cost / high nutrition cooking classes this spring. These classes are free on Sunday afternoons beginning April 22nd. This spring will be the garden’s third EcoFest on April 15, 2012.
