News today is that Chrisopher Short has been named the new executive chef at Social 121. Chef Short has spent his career at some of the top-rated food spots in Dallas. His first role as Executive Chef was at the Willow Bend Polo and Hunt Club. His talents were quickly recognized and he was recruited by the Hotel Crescent Court. After traveling across the U.S. and abroad opening new hotels for the company, Chef Short spent a year as the private dining chef at the  Mansion on Turtle Creek. He then decided to venture out on his own and worked as the Executive Chef at Bella. While at Bella, he grabbed four stars from the critic at the Dallas Morning News.

“I want to create a dining experience second to none. Today’s guests are looking for bold flavors and excitement in their dining experience. The urban chic atmosphere of Social 121 is the perfect place for me to jump back into the Dallas culinary scene and turn Social 121 into one of the top restaurants in Dallas.” Short continued, “my menu will reflect a trendy, yet casual style. Guests will experience some of my new creations as well as some of my old favorites.”

The new menu will rollout the week of March 19th.

Scott Siers, the owner of Social 121 said, “We are fortunate to have a culinary leader with extraordinary talents in Chef Christopher. I am excited for our guests to see the fabulous menu he has put together. The food, atmosphere and the service will create the ultimate dining experience for our guests.”
