Customer Appreciation will be the focus at Snookie’s Oaklawn’s 25th anniversary celebration on June 7th as they thank their customers for patronage throughout this year and over the course of the last 25 years.
On Saturday June 7th, Snookie’s Oaklawn is giving back to our customers with throwback drink and food specials from 11am to 2am with our Official 25 year Anniversary party featuring outdoor seating, a retro 80’s DJ and free swag.
Most probably do not recall that Snookie was a real person from Brownwood, Texas where he catered parties and town functions, and was a true pitmaster. The restaurant was founded in 1989 in Snookie’s honor by brothers Gene Street Jr. and Dace Street, and became an Oak Lawn fixture. The food is all from scratch using Snookie’s original recipe for his award winning chicken fried steak. And we will never confuse Snookie for Snooki.
