Lobster Rolls are a source of great local pride for many New Englanders. And when Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill opened nearly ten years ago, it was their Maine-inspired New England Lobster Roll that helped put the location on the culinary map in North Texas.
For years, owner and fishmonger Rick Oruch has talked about the authentic bread that he flies in from the region to create the perfect balance of buttered bun to cold lobster salad. But now, the region’s top seafood destination has also added a Connecticut style “lobsta” roll. A Connecticut style lobster roll is served on a baguette, and at Sea Breeze it is served with five ounces of warm lobster served with melted butter.
“Our clientele is well-traveled and loves to have choices,” notes Oruch. “I had the opportunity to learn the secrets of the perfect Connecticut-style Lobster Roll from the proprietor of Lobster Landing in Clinton, CT, and that inspired us to add an additional lobster roll for diners.”
