First Look: Lovers Seafood & Market

exteriorphotos by Joey Stewart

Crave DFW was graciously invited to Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing’s newest venture, Lover’s Seafood and Market last night to take a peek inside and sample some of the menu. The space features a raw bar, twelve seat group table, dining room, full bar, and a fresh seafood counter for those that wish to cook at home.

Executive Chef Aaron Staudenmaier, who opened each of Kent Rathbun’s restaurants, created a menu featuring dips, poke, soups and salads, Maine and Connecticut style lobster rolls, PoBoys, and market fish served any way you wish. Shellfish including oysters, shrimp, mussels and clams, crab, and calamari are available in a variety of dishes.

The non seafood lover hasn’t been excluded and can choose from roast half chicken, tenderloin, chicken sliders and a burger. Family style sides and of course desserts round out the menu.

The restaurant opens to the public for lunch today and tomorrow, with dinner service beginning on Monday. For reservations call 214.414.9880, this will be a hot ticket. Take a peek below at our slide show:
