Check In At The Rustic For Your Picnic Supplies

Life’s a picnic when you’re at The Rustic.

The Uptown hot spot knows that spring is the perfect time to soak in the sunshine and enjoy a fresh meal with a friend or loved one.

Beginning March 20 – the first day of spring – The Rustic invites Dallasites to take full advantage of the beautiful weather by grabbing one of its new, specialty picnic baskets. For just $16.95 per person, the basket will be packed with a serape blanket, seasonal fruit, smoked potato chips and assorted dips, smoked turkey & white cheddar on buttered ciabatta, ham & smoked cheddar on buttered baguette along with a few scrumptious dessert jar creations like the famous Banana Puddin’ jar.

“The Rustic is the perfect spot in Uptown for a picnic,” said Kyle Noonan, co-owner of FreeRange Concepts, creator of The Rustic. “With all that grass out on our patio, it’s just begging for picnickers! And since we host live music every day, our guests can soak in the sun while enjoying the wide assortment of delicious farm-fresh food in their baskets.”

Guests can purchase The Rustic’s distinctive picnic baskets every Thursday – Sunday. Minimum of two people per basket.

With its casual atmosphere, live musical acts and unique, full-service dining experience featuring farm-fresh, homestyle dishes and a Texas-sized selection of wines, spirits and 40 beers on tap, The Rustic has carved a distinctive niche among Dallas restaurants. The concept is the brainchild of Noonan, Josh Sepkowitz and Texas country artist Pat Green, whose love of the outdoors and live music helped bring The Rustic to life. The result is a fun and relaxing dining and concert experience from a phenomenal patio, all under the big Texas sky.

The Rustic is located at 3656 Howell Street in Dallas.
