Things are about to get spicy! Cannonball Productions, the company behind the highly acclaimed, nationally-touring Bacon and Beer Classic, is launching its hottest food and drink festival yet. Taco Takeover will pair refreshing cocktails, tequila samples, and beer with original tacos from the best local chefs. In between bites, guests can bob for churros, dance to a live Mariachi band, compete in a nacho eating contest, try out temporary tattoos, and more.

It all goes down at The Foundry on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Kate Levenstien, founder of Cannonball Productions and the Bacon and Beer Classic, is thrilled to introduce Taco Takeover to foodies and tequila lovers across the country. “We know just how much people love bacon and beer, but the response we’ve seen to Taco Takeover is by far the most ecstatic yet. There’s something about a refreshing margarita in one hand and a guac-topped taco in the other that is simply unbeatable. We can’t wait to bring this delicious combination to Dallas and beyond.”

A panel of judges will award the best tacos at the fiesta, including original recipes from TorTaco, Blue Green Canteen, La Botana Taco Bar, Taqueria La Ventana, and more. Guests can choose from two 2.5-hour sessions on Saturday. General Admission tickets start at $45 and VIP tickets start at $59, guaranteeing guests half-hour early entry and access to an exclusive guacamole bar. All tickets include a souvenir tasting glass.

A nationally-touring festival, Taco Takeover will visit New York City, Denver, and San Jose after stopping in Dallas. Cannonball Productions is committed to partnering with food recovery programs in every host city, and will donate leftover food from the Dallas event to the homeless.
