Genghis Grill recently reopened its newly upgraded restaurant, located at 5500 Greenville Ave. in Dallas, and is celebrating by inviting the community to experience the new design while also supporting a good cause.

Located in the Old Town Shopping Center, Genghis Grill briefly closed for business while completing a major remodel project, the sixth in a plan to refresh all Dallas-Fort Worth locations.

On Wednesday, May 15, Genghis Grill will host a celebratory fundraiser benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). Twenty percent of the day’s proceeds will be donated to this top-ranked nonprofit relief organization. NTFB provides access to more than 190,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13-county service area.

Frequent guests of the Dallas restaurant will immediately notice the difference. The restaurant has been completely remodeled, with an entirely new design created by brand strategy and design firm Propaganda Studios and multi-discipline firm ID Studio 4. The new design includes colorful booths, re-imaged exterior window graphics, and eye-catching walls decorated using geometric graphics and refurbished signs.

And while the restaurant has a new look, its food remains unaltered; it’s still the Genghis Grill that everyone knows and loves. Guests will continue to experience the same quality interactive dining experience and ability to forge their own flavor by creating custom bowls filled with exactly what they are craving.

“We are looking forward to continuing our plan to remodel all of our DFW locations and more throughout the nation in the next few years,” said CEO Jim Vinz. “As we refresh and upgrade all of our restaurants throughout DFW, we want to take time to thank the communities we serve by giving back through partnerships like this one. We are excited to celebrate our newest remodel by supporting the incredible work of the North Texas Food Bank.”

Genghis Grill in the Old Town Shopping Center is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
