Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is now open in The Sound at Cypress Waters. The Saucer was established in 1995 and the newest location of the popular beer-focused destination features an entirely new food menu made from scratch and fast casual service tailored to the modern, urban city-center lifestyle.
Lighter fare including hummus, house smoked salmon, fresh salads and bodacious bowls such as the Speedy Gonzales (black beans, brown rice, fresh corn, pico de gallo, avocado, cilantro and jalapeño) with choice of proteins, and pressed sandwiches including the Andy Cubano Garcia (slow cooked pork, ham, yellow mustard, black garlic aioli and pickles on Cuban bread) highlight the menu along with the signature Twisted Sister Pretzel served with beer mustard, bourbon mustard and honey butter.
Primarily focused on independently owned craft beers from DFW, Texas, US and International breweries, a beer menu of 40 taps along with a selection of over 60 bottles and cans is curated by Flying General Manager Neil Armstrong. Saucer at The Sound is the 1st location of the concept to offer a crowler and growler fill station do Beerknurds can enjoy beer at home or on the amphitheater lawn during concerts at the new venue.
Daily specials include $4 drafts every Sunday and Monday and during “Social Hour” from 4pm-7pm Monday-Friday as well as a Daily Fire Sale on select brews and a special on a “Crowler of the Day”.
