Shakertins recently-opened location at the Shops at Legacy in Plano has quickly established itself as a neighborhood go-to for daily drink specials, solid bar food and friendly service. Now, it’s giving patrons another reason to visit: brunch.
Available every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the brunch menu is loaded with mid-morning favorites, including breakfast tacos, fresh biscuits and French toast, plus $7 Bloody Marys and $5 Mimosas—there’s even a Mimosa Tower loaded with 2.5 liters of Champagne and OJ. So, it has everything you need to recover from the night before, or just to start your day off right. While you eat, DJ Flip Millionz will spin tracks from noon until 4 p.m., so stick around for a fun and festive afternoon to soak up every last hour of the weekend.
Menu items include:
· Signature Chicken Biscuit: Double-fried chicken, sunny side up egg, chipotle gravy, honey butter and chives, served on handmade biscuit
· Breakfast Tacos: Choice of bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, hash, shredded cheese and cilantro, served three to an order
· Southern Benny: Two fresh-made biscuits, sausage, bacon, gravy, poached egg and hollandaise sauce
· Chicken & Waffles: Double-fried chicken, Belgian waffle, maple butter and a sunny side up egg with a side of chipotle gravy
· Coffee Cake French Toast: Four slices with whipped cream, strawberries and bourbon cream cheese drizzle
· Hangover Burger: Cheddar cheese, bacon, sunny side up egg with candied jalapenos and Awesome Sauce
· Brunch Pizza: Gravy sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, sausage and bacon.
· Shakertins Sampler: Two eggs, two sausages, two bacon strips and hash browns
· Mimosa: Champagne and orange juice
· Mimosa Tower: 2.5 liters of Champagne and OJ
· Premium Bloody Mary: Ketel One vodka and all the fixins
Shakertins boasts a 3,500-square-foot interior joined by an additional 1,000 square-feet of patio space, with dual garage doors creating a breezy indoor/outdoor feel. After fortifying yourself with brunch, play some pool or catch a game on one of the many HDTVs.
