Harwood Hospitality Group’s thirteenth concept, Tequila Social, will open its doors this spring on the ground floor of 3100 McKinnonlocated at 3100 McKinnonSt, Suite G100, Dallas, TX 75201. The concept offers guests a casual, West-Texas inspired dining experience featuring Tex-Mex, an extensive margarita and frozen drinks program, and a large patio on the Katy Trail.
Curated by Harwood Hospitality Group’s Vice President of Culinary Taylor Kearney, Vice President of Development Stephan Schneider, and Vice Presidentof Hospitality Warren Richards, Tequila Social is inspired by the landscape of Big Bend and the friendly, laidback towns of West Texas. The new concept brings a playful environment to the Katy Trail and the Harwood District.
Richards says, “Tequila Social provides an energetic environment, perfect for socializing with friends after work, a day out with the whole family, a lively weekend brunch, or a fun date night. The beverage program showcases agave through a variety of margaritas & frozen cocktails, while a selection of easy drinking beers will provide relief even on the hottest summer day.”
Chef Taylor Kearney has created a menu featuring bold Tex-Mex flavors to pair with the beverage program. Kearney explains, “Tequila Social will honor Tex-Mex classics such as charred skirt steak fajitas, Baja fish tacos and queso while taking a light-hearted approach with dishes like buffalo chicken flautas and a decadent bone-in burrito.”
Located on the ground floor of the 3100 McKinnon building the 10,000-square-foot space offers seating for 355 between the indoor and outdoor area. The concept features an ample dog-friendly patio with over 200 seats, 10+ 60-inch TVs, fire pits, social games and occasional live entertainment. Two entrances are available including one inside the parking garage of 3100 McKinnon and another directly off the Katy Trail.
The West Texas-inspired design features natural tones and furnishings inspired by Mexican tradition, while the shaded patio provides intimacy via a bark trellis and rope detailing which creates a rustic yet upscale fee. Guests will be greeted by a distinctive mural courtesy of Dallas-based design studio, Pickle Schmitt Co.
Tequila Social will open in Spring 2023 for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
