Things are Heating up at Snowbird in Frisco

Since opening last October, Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen has become one of the most popular restaurants in Frisco, drawing diners in for dinner and brunch, with its gorgeous space, delicious food and craft cocktails. Now, guest have more reasons to visit, as Snowbird has unveiled its new happy hour menu, refreshed its dinner and cocktail menus, and infused brunch with Latin-inspired flavors and music.

Snowbird’s Happy Hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 – 6 p.m and features 50% off a selection of crowd-favorite cocktails, wines and appetizers. It’s the perfect occasion to bring some friends, your partner or colleagues for a well-deserved after-work treat, as you wind down from the day.

Stick around for dinner, and guests can dive into new Peruvian and Argentinian dishes created by Executive Chef Walter Bandt. The menu features appetizers like Peruvian Ceviche, Causa Trilogy (a trilogy of potatoes, each paired with a different style of seafood), Grilled Wagyu Tacos, Hummus and Chicken Sliders. Any of the above is a great starting point before moving onto a trio of new entrees. Lomo Montado is a traditional Argentinian dish featuring grilled zabuton with chimichurri, thyme-garlic French fries and a poached egg.

There’s also Lomo Salteado, a Peruvian dish featuring tender strips of Wagyu steak stir fried with onions and tomatoes and served with fries and steamed white rice. Lastly, the Grilled Mahi Mahi is a six-ounce portion that’s lightly drizzled with chili oil, topped with micro greens and served over a bed of roasted corn citric salad. Need some dessert? Don’t miss the Arroz con Leche. Served cold, this South American classic consists of rice cooked with coconut milk, evaporated milk, vanilla and orange zest, and is topped with cinnamon.

These zesty flavors flow straight into weekend brunch, with more new dishes and music inspired by Chef Bandt’s South American roots. Guests can feast on Shakshuka (poached eggs in a tangy, spicy sauce of cherry tomatoes and red onions), Green Chicken Tamales, Pork Cochinita Tamales, or Huevos Pericos, a Columbian-style dish that joins scrambled eggs with fresh avocado, bacon strips and an arepa.

With so many new menu items across happy hour, dinner and brunch, there’s never been a better time to swing by Snowbird. Come early, stay late, and enjoy yourself at this stylish, fun-loving restaurant and bar.
