A Wild 25-Course Tasting Menu Offered at Lonesome Dove in FW

Chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur Tim Love proudly announced today early plans surrounding a year-long celebration honoring the 25th anniversary of his flagship restaurant, Lonesome Do Western Bistro, located in the heart of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. A cornerstone of Western-inspired fine dining and an anchor in Fort Worth’s culina renaissance, Lonesome Dove’s silver anniversary underscores not only Love’s enduring impact on the restaurant industry but also the loyal diners, dedicated employees, and vibrant community that have helped shape its success. 

The 25th anniversary year will include a series of special events and activities to honor Lonesome Dove’s legacy. On May 1, Chef Love will invite friends, family, longtime supporters, and a few special guests to celebrate the occasion at Lonesome Dove. Launching on May 2, the Love team will execute an incredible culinary feat—a limited-time, 25-course retrospective tasting menu offering diners a curated journ through the restaurant’s most iconic dishes alongside new creations inspired by its evolution. During its 25-year history, the restaurant has been honored with numerous accolades, including a 4.5 out of 5-star rating from The Dallas Morning News in 2003, making it the highest-rated restaurant in Fort Worth at the time. Lonesome Dove also achieved a Zagatrating of 28 in 2004—the highest in Texas and among the top 50 in the U.S.—and was named one of The Top 50 Restaurants in the World by American Way Magazine in 2002
