Hispanic Heritage Month in Dallas is in full swing, and Mercado Juarez is leading the celebration with a series of special offerings that honor Mexican culture and cuisine. This beloved DFW Tex-Mex institution, known for its warm, family-friendly atmosphere and decades-long reputation as a gathering spot, is marking the season with flavorful specials and lively events that bring the community together.
From September 15 through October 15, guests can enjoy $3 house margaritas all day, a perfect way to toast the rich traditions of Mexican heritage. The festivities hit a peak on Monday, September 16, with a Mexican Independence Day celebration featuring half-price margaritas on all varieties for dine-in patrons, accompanied by the spirited sounds of a live mariachi performance during dinner service. The music, combined with Mercado Juarez’s vibrant dining room, makes for an evening filled with joy, laughter, and cultural pride.
A seasonal highlight is the Chiles en Nogada special, available September 12–16. This traditional Mexican dish, featuring poblano peppers stuffed with a savory-sweet filling and topped with a creamy walnut sauce, embodies the flavors and history of Mexico, giving diners a chance to experience a dish that has been cherished for generations.
For decades, Mercado Juarez has been more than a restaurant—it has been a place where families gather, stories are shared, and the flavors of Mexico bring people together. This Hispanic Heritage Month, the restaurant’s specials and celebrations provide the perfect reason to come together, honor culture, and savor authentic Tex-Mex dishes that capture the spirit of the season.
