Casa Brasa Opens October 27

Casa Brasa—a dining destination inspired by the open-fire grills and vibrant sushi counters of Latin America—opens its doors on October 27th for lunch and dinner. Brought to life by award-winning Chef Omar Flores and the Marshi Family of Big Dill Hospitality, Casa Brasa promises a multi-sensory experience where fire, flavor, and precision take center stage.

“Casa Brasa was born from fire—not just in the kitchen, but in its spirit,” says Alec Marshi, CEO and co-founder of Big Dill Hospitality. “Every curve, texture, and material was chosen to radiate warmth and invite connection. It’s a space designed for gathering, celebrating, and truly feeling.”

The restaurant captures the rhythms and soul of South America, blending immersive music with interiors meant for lingering, sharing, and celebration. Cocktails are theatrical, plates are crafted with care, and the reimagined space features an open-fire grill, raw bar, sushi counter, private event rooms, and a lively bar.

The menu highlights prime cuts of beef and pristine seafood, from Filets, Sakura Pork “Secreto,” and Delmonico Prime Ribeye to Lumina Farms Double-Cut Lamb Chops, Butterflied Branzino “Divorciado,” and the Black Hawk Farms Ribeye “Tomahawk,” all grilled over white oak charcoal and mesquite wood and served with house sauces. The Barra Fría offers chilled market oysters, Red Snapper Ceviche, and Haikkaidō Scallop Aguachile, while sushi lovers can enjoy specialty maki rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and the signature Casa Brasa Roll, featuring snow crab, grilled jalapeño, asparagus, Wagyu beef, and roasted piña salsa.

Chef Omar Flores and the Marshi family drew inspiration from travels across Mexico, South America, Dubai, Europe, Miami, and New York to perfect live-fire techniques, spices, and rituals that engage all the senses. “Casa Brasa embodies everything we stand for: passion, culture, and precision,” says COO Alexander Urrunaga. “From the flame to the flavor to the feeling you get when you walk in, every detail was crafted to make the ordinary extraordinary.”

Casa Brasa is located at 8111 Preston Road, across from Preston Center in Dallas. Reservations begin at 11 a.m. on October 27 via Resy, and more information, including menus and hours, is available at www.thecasabrasa.com.
