Meridian Announces June Dinners for “Meridian’s Chef Collective”

Meridian, the modern neighborhood restaurant at The Village Dallas led by Executive Chef Eduardo Osorio, will continue its newly launched Chef Collective dinner series this June with a lineup of one-night-only collaborative dinners featuring Chef Gabe Erales and Chef R.J. Yoakum. Both dinners will bring a different format and point of view, from a lively, come-and-go event with bites, cocktails and live music to an intimate multi-course tasting menu.

On June 9, Meridian will welcome Bravo Top Chef winner Chef Gabe Erales for an evening inspired by fuego, crudos and maíz, blending Baja seafood culture, Latin street food energy and Texas live-fire cooking. Guests can enjoy a casual lineup of creative bites alongside craft cocktails from local mixologist Jario. Designed as a come-and-go experience with live music, the evening invites guests to mingle, explore new flavors and see Erales and Osorio cook side by side for one night only.

On June 15, Meridian will welcome Chef R.J. Yoakum for a tasting experience in collaboration with Chef Eduardo Osorio. After spending more than three years at Thomas Keller’s Michelin three-star The French Laundry, Yoakum has emerged as one of the country’s rising culinary talents and was recognized as a James Beard Award finalist in 2025. Now leading Sushi Kozy, a Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient, Yoakum will join Osorio for a special tasting menu shaped by seasonality, technique and thoughtful collaboration. The multi-course dinner will blend Meridian’s hearth-driven cooking style with the refined approach and local agricultural influence Yoakum is known for.
