Parlor Doughnuts Is Coming to Henderson Avenue; Here’s Where to Find One in DFW Right Now

Parlor Doughnuts is coming to Henderson Avenue, and if you’ve been watching the construction at 2802 N. Henderson — the small standalone building that used to be a clothing store — that’s what’s going in. No confirmed open date yet, but the brand is on the official website, the address is live, and franchisee Ben Burkett has been talking about it since early 2026. “You have all these great restaurants and nightlife but no place for people in the neighborhood to bring their kids and grab a doughnut and coffee,” he said when the deal was announced. He’s not wrong about the gap.

While Henderson finishes its buildout, the closest working locations are in McKinney and Southlake, and both are worth the drive if you haven’t had one yet.

The product is a laminated doughnut — same technique used for croissants, same layered, flaky architecture — topped and filled with combinations that run from restrained to genuinely excessive depending on your mood. They don’t call them cronuts because that name is trademarked, but the comparison is unavoidable and not unflattering. Parlor started as a coffee shop in Evansville, Indiana in 2019, added the doughnuts, and has since grown to more than 100 locations nationally. The first Texas shop opened in Fort Worth in 2021.

The permanent menu runs more than 20 flavors. The maple pecan is the bestseller and earns it — maple glaze, toasted pecans, the right amount of sweetness without going cloying. The bourbon caramel is the one for people who want something richer. The turtle cheesecake — chocolate, caramel, pecans, cheesecake filling — is the one people post about. The churro with cinnamon sugar coating has developed a serious following. On the lighter end, the raspberry pistachio is the most surprising flavor on the board, genuinely good in a way that sounds like a mistake until you try it. The French toast is the one regulars recommend to first-timers before they’ve looked at anything else.

July’s seasonal lineup is built around campfire classics, soda fountain flavors, and red-white-and-blue combinations — worth checking their social media for the current rotation before you go. The monthly flavor program launched this year and changes every 30 days. They also do milkshakes in matching flavors, breakfast tacos, avocado toast, and two breakfast sandwiches. Coffee program covers cappuccinos, lattes, matcha, and chai.

The McKinney location is at 5100 Stacy Road, Suite 950, open Monday through Sunday 6:30am to 3pm. The Southlake location is on Southlake Boulevard with similar hours. Watch parlordoughnuts.com for the Henderson Avenue open date — it will be the first Parlor in Dallas proper and the neighborhood has been waiting for it.
