Komali Tequila Dinner

CraveDFW and Abraham Salum at Komali wish to bring you Casa Noble Tequila and an evening of fine dining. We will give away a two seats for this October 12th special dinner, but do not hesitate in making a reservation as the special event is filling fast. To win two seats give us a shout out in comments and we will award this prize later this week.

Special guests will include the owners of the tequila brand, Pepe Hermosillo and Carlos Santana (yes, that Carlos). 

The family-owned distillery makes handcrafted tequilas that are exported to over 23 countries. Casa Noble and Santana family have the same origin— Jalisco, Mexico, both families dating back to the 1700s. The ten time Grammy winning artist feels “spiritually connected to the Hermosillo family and Casa Noble. Together they celebrate the gift of life and all of the blessings that come with it.

Restaurant Week Secrets Revealed

Restaurant Week  is blasting through full swing in Dallas and for those poor souls that have yet to make a reservation you may be out of luck. Of course we are here to help you through this difficult problem.

As you may be aware, Restaurant Week benefit’s the North Texas Food Bank (Dallas) and the Lena Pope Home (Fort Worth). Last year this event raised over $600,000 for the charities. Over 100 restaurants participate in this one to three week long event offering a prix fixe dinner for $35 with an extra course available with a Central Market’s  token offered with a $25 purchase at their store.

We spoke to a few restaurants today to see if there were any  tricks in getting a reservation during what can be the busiest hospitality season of the year. What we found should make you smile.  Continue reading →
