I am always on the lookout for fresh, exciting, memory-making adventures with my toddler. As we are make our way through December you can bet that I am looking for all the best photo opportunities of my precious little one enjoying the wonders of the holiday season. Recently, I had a stand-out adventure experience that while engaging for my daughter felt like a much-needed break for me,Christmas at the Anatole.
Tomorrow, Thursday, December 10th, the Dallas Mavericks will host Cookies with Santa, presented by Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics, as part of the Mavs Care Season of Giving. More than 20 preschool children facing homelessness from Vogel Alcove will attend the outdoor event and will be greeted by the Mavs ManiAACs and Champ, along with a special virtual visit by several Mavs players through a pre-recorded video.
The children will play games, make holiday crafts and listen to “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” from the afternoon’s VIP guest, Santa. Each child will take home goodies from Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics along with holiday cookies and a bag full of presents and necessities from the Dallas Mavericks to enjoy this holiday season.

The Dallas Santa Rampage is set for December 15, 2012. This is the event that invites all the Dallas Santa’s to join and follow a route that is a closely held secret until the day of the event. Last year hundreds of Santa’s met at Lee Harvey’s for cocktails then followed a route that led them across the downtown area via light rail and ended in Deep Ellum before making a return trip.
